Process

We use the State-of -the-art manufacturing technologies. Belts are produced on Robust machinery, with On-line process checks and Quality control measures. Every belt is inspected for appearance and dimensions, and only OK belts are supplied to the customers.

RAW MATERIAL MIXING:

Raw Material from Store room is weighed manually. The mixing is done in a Kneader. The mixture is then put between 2 rollers also called Rubber mill and finally raw material sheets are obtained.

PROFILE CALENDERING:

The Green mixture sheets are fed into the calendaring machine. This m/c imprints the belt profile on the rubber sheet.

BELT BUILDING MACHINE:

This is the most critical process. V - Belt compression ply reinforced with fibers and profile is perfectly formed by profiled Dies and Rollers.

PROFILE CUTTING:

Here, the sleeve is fed into a roller cutter, where the sleeve is cut into similar belts. The excess strands are finished using scissors.

FLIPPING:

This process is the wrapping of outer fabric cover over the belts.

CURING:

Belts are cured in moulds by the passage of steam. Stickers are placed on the belts (during curing, the ink in the sticker gets embossed on the belts). After the process is over, the entire stack is removed, the outer sleeve is detached, and the stack is immersed in a water bath to reduce the temperature.

CODING:

This process checks V-belts for length. The belt is fitted on 2 pulleys, and is tensioned using pre-calculated loads. The center distance between the pulleys is measured. Passed belts are visually identified and sent to the next process.

CARBON DYEING:

After the curing process, this process is done to give the belt a uniform black colour. The finished belts are coated with dry carbon powder and immersed on a water bath. The excess carbon is washed off, and the belts get dyed. After this process, the belts are sent to the raw material stores. The material is packed either in boxes, or in packets and is dispatched.
